(((Emma)))

I am so deeply, deeply sorry. Thank you for sharing your beloved Kit with us. While we all hope for miracles, sometimes the miracle is mercy and that’s what you gave your girl. There is no truer sacrifice for love.

I’m so very sorry. The biggest sacrifice we can make for them is putting what’s best for them first before what we want and need and that’s what you did today. Only you could give her peace and set her free. We know deep down as much as it’s heartbreaking to admit, when it’s time to let them go. I hope you can find comfort in knowing you did everything you could for her and then some. Should all cats be so lucky and have a mom that would do anything for them. As someone said to me last year, the first few days are going to be the toughest and you just have to brace yourself so you can get through them and start to heal. May you find peace too.

I am so so sorry to hear this Emma. You have been an absolute lioness fighting for Kit. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we just can’t save them. And it is heartbreaking.:bighug:
But you gave her the greatest gift of all, even though it was breaking your heart.

This is the toughest of days for you…take care.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Emma, we are so very sorry for your loss. You were a fantastic friend and caregiver to Kit, and you did everything within your power to help her in the past two weeks. In such a terrible situation, everything can go wrong even when you're doing everything right. It's clear that she had an exceptionally loving home, and I think she must have known a lot of happiness in her life. Take care of yourself and give our love to Henry.
