So today Rocky had dental done and some blood tests and an abdominal scan.
He had 3 teeth removed and everything else looked normal, his bloods mostly fine, nothing to worry about.
He is happy at home now, very hungry but I don't want to give him a lot of food in one go.
It all seems to be good so I'm relieved.

I hope so.
I'm glad they checked all his internal organs and everything looks normal.
I really have to think about his immune system as he has inflammation in his mouth. His sister (under another person's care) had severe gingivitis and stomatitis and had all her teeth removed at the age of 9 months!
Rocky is missing few teeth already as he was born without some and had some removed. Hope it's for the best.

Now a surprise:
Rocky's BG PMPS is very low 3.8 (68) on AT2, 2.6 (47) on human meter.
I didn't expect that, I thought it will be higher than normal. His BG at the vet's was stable but high.
He has been back from the vet's for 4 hours now and I fed him prior to the test now twice but not huge amount so the low number is a surprise.
I will keep testing him but at the moment he is really enjoying his food.

woooowwww Rocky's numbers are looking so great!
Maybe this was it what caused his numbers to stay a little bit too high for your liking, but now he's doing great!
Keeping my fingers crossed.
I'm happy that everything went well at the vets Marlena.:bighug:

I posted a new thread cos Rocky was given Metacam and I don't want to use it but he might need a different anti-inflammatory.
