We beat diabetes and kicked it in the butt with the help of this group. I love you all for all the help and guidance. The sugar dance was so easy in comparison. Norman started being picky with his food . after many vet trips , allbhis blood labs spot on and chemistry panel perfect. No thyroid issues and no pancrease issues. Ran xrays and found tumors. Next I did ultrasound. Took him to Blue Pearl specialty vet hospital to an oncologist. My heart is beyond crushed. On October 25th I helped my lil orange tiger ( my red headed step child lol ) cross to rainbow bridge at home using a home setvice called lap of love. It was so peaceful for him and I , I was able to pet him and whisper words of love to him. My heart went with him. My heart is so broken. All 3 of his doctors praised me for making the decision seeing he had two kinds of cancer . omg it was the hardest decision ever yet knew I did not want to risk an obstruction etc and have to take him to emergency vet under such duress. I knew in my heart that the following days he was not going to feel better. I pray I pray i did the right thing. I owe all of you so many thank you because with this group my boy had 3 years after being diagnosed diabetic. All these years his labs had been perfect that all the vets said none of his organs ever suffered from being diabetic. That tight regulation lol. He had been in remission since march 2017. I miss him so much and all his talking. My heart is forever broken beyond repair. Again thank you all for all your help. R.I.P. Norman. 8/13/2005 to 10/25/2017.
