Update on Murphy

Murphy is off the juice for 5 days now! Too soon to tell, she goes in and out but always under 200. Someone pointed me to a site for Cushing's, but with all of her posts lately, I cannot seem to locate it. Since the weekend, she has actually been sleeping on my bed close to me in her little furry bed! And, I've created it so she can crawl onto some pillows to get to my bed, but my dad built some steps and carpeted them so she could get up easier. She even came to the sofa the other night and laid down next to me. Just love her. She seems to feel better off the insulin, for whatever reason. The mite is slowly going away. The only thing I can really see is that she is a little bloaty. She's put on a few oz. over the last few weeks though. Last night, she was rolling around on the floor playing with her cat nip toys.

All in all, I'm please so far.

She was playing a little more tonight until Oscie, my siamese got a hold of her. He gets time outs for acting like a 2-year old. So far, she seems to be doing very well, except I do get concerned that the litter sticks to her little back paws, but she has no sugar in her urine.
