Hi all,
It's been over 2 months since my boy has started Lantis, he was diagnosed in March with BS of 390, have been feeding him FF, Wellness and thanks to the wonderful chart here some great foods that he loves.
Have been testing often one month ago at 1 unit he was 90 so the vet had me give him 1/2 unit, tonights BS was 123, he is much happier and my only concern is that is fur is still not looking that great, it's better but still look "oily" in some areas.

I am boarding him next week end at the vets so I expect some up in his results since he hates when I leave him but he will be safe there. I will be checking on him often when I am away for 3 days. Any advise on his coat issue would be appreciated.
I want to thank you all for saving my sanity and him without you all I could never have done this. He thanks you and so do I.

One suggestion for when you board your cat at the vet is that you require your vet to test before EVERY shot. A lot of vets do not do that and you do not want to risk Loki becoming hypoglycemic even when at the vet's office. I always leave my meter with the vet and they are required to test with my meter whenever I board my cats.

Thank you for the advise will do. He is doing so well that I am so afraid to set him back with this boarding. Also it the week end so the vet is there on Sat but a tech is there on Sunday. Getting him back as soon as I can on Sunday. Will update when we get back.
