First I just want to thank everyone for this amazing forum! I came here ignorant and learned everything I needed to know to treat my cat the correct way and not make it a guessing game. More vets should encourage home testing..anyway Bunny is still diabetes free due to the fact that we are doing everything possible so she doesn’t need another deport medrol shot. Someone suggested apaquel for her itching, and my vet was willing to give it to her. Together with revolution every 3-4 weeks, baths and Xanax on bad days( for kitty even though I could use it lol). I give her 1/2 apaquel twice daily 3.6mg tablet. She is pretty normal again finally! It’s been a rough ride getting to this point but without all the expert advice I found here I’m not sure where we’d be! So thank you!
