I can't believe how long it's been since I posted any pictures of the kitties! They are going on 10 weeks old and getting bigger (and badder!) every day. There for awhile I was taking pics every day but then I forgot for a couple of weeks so I figured I better get a few before they're all grown up.
I found wonderful homes for the white female that looked like a hedgehog (I was calling her Yoda) and also for the black male. I am left with a white male (Yuki, my favorite but don't tell the others) and two black females. The black ones are identical except that one has about 3 white hairs on the chest (KoKo) and the other has about 3 white hairs on the stomach (Kona). Obviously I can't be picking them up to tell which name to yell when they are doing wrong so I tried to put a collar on one of them yesterday. It was a break-away and lasted about 3 seconds. I guess I will have to go back to marking one with nail polish, although I hate to do that because they try to run away from themselves and it's pretty sad. bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif
And I still have the mommacat, Angel. She is the sweetest cat and has obviously never had the opportunity to be a kitten because she never used to play and then when the babies started playing she roughhouses with them just like she is a kitten. I worried about it for awhile because she will pounce on them and give kinda like a body-slam to the ground and then bite the kitty on the neck and stomach. But the kitties rarely cry and it's almost like a human mother making blubber noises on a human baby's stomach....the kitties look for more when she stops.
So it looks like I will be the bean for FOUR cats...I hope I'm up to it.
