That's terrible; so sorry to hear. The antibiotic Boo is taking has amoxicillin in it which causes nausea as well; debating taking him of it. He did eat this evening but it just added to the collection of open, partially eaten or wasted cans in the fridge. I read cats take a bit of Pepcid to help with their stomach - you might want to search for comments on it. All the best to you and Diego.

I gave him 2.5 mg of plain pepcid last night but I haven't really noticed a difference. It may take effect over a longer period of time.

Can they flavor the pills you got? That would be great. I thought they would have to somehow make it.

It's a liquid suspension and even though it's on their website my Walgreen's said they can't do it because they would have to order the flavor and compound it while they made the medicine, etc. They can't just squirt flavoring in there which I think is dumb.

I thought it would have to be made. What about getting some anyway so you have it on hand for future use.

Is there any way of extending the shelf life, Larry, or should you be very strict about disposal on the expiry date?

Mogs
.

I would ask the pharmacy. Also ask if it can be refrigerated. I know my civvie preferences her thyroid suspension cold. It would last 6 weeks. Each med is different though.
