Hi guys! Sorry to bring another random question on cat food. I've already emailed this question to the relevant regional office of Nestlé Consumer Services but have yet to hear back from them. In the meantime, I thought I'd see if anyone here knows the answer.
Basically I've recently noticed that the version of Fancy Feast Classic Pate Chicken Feast marketed in my country (Singapore) appears to have "Sugars" listed as an ingredient. I've included a link below to the Purina SG website which contains the ingredients list:
https://www.purina.com.sg/cat/cat-food/fancyfeast-classic-pate-chicken-feast-wet
"Sugars" is the last ingredient on the list.
It seems to me like this ingredients list (and the nutritional values) might differ slightly from the US version, and now I'm worried about whether I should continue feeding it to my OTJ cat (I've since paused giving him the FF, and he's only on Feline Natural at the moment). Would anyone here have any knowledge on what the "Sugars" in this ingredient list could possibly be, and whether, given this possible difference, FF in my country may not actually be safe for a diet-controlled diabetic cat?
Thank you so much in advance for your help.
