Scooter is in British Columbia, Canada (the west coast), but DCIN can help to transport this most handsome man to just about anywhere in the continental US or the populated parts of Canada. If you might be interested in adopting Scooter, you can contact his DCIN case manager at Celine@dcin.info.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. Rylee will miss him... Here's hoping someone will adopt him soon...

(Or maybe you could pop him on a plane to the UK, Venita! ;-) )

There's that 6-month quarantine into the UK, Elizabeth, that presents a bit of a problem.

Venita, is it possible to put Scooter's location in the message title? Then people might be drawn to look at this if they know what part of the world he's in.

PS. Yep, I know the quarantine thingy is an issue here. But if you're coming over this way soon maybe you can smuggle him in your luggage! ;-)

PPS. And totally 'off topic', Still have fond memories of visiting Hampton Court's rose garden and maze with you.

Scooter Update

Scooter found himself a new home in central Maine and he started his trek from British Columbia yesterday. He has a couple stay-overs along the way (his is a complicated transport) and won't be getting to his new home until September 5 (or so). Just thought the folks here who have been freidns to Ry and Scooter might like and update.

And well done for organising that. You're an absolute star.

I'm guessing Rylee has very mixed feelings about this (glad that Scooter has a home, but sad that he's gone...)

Scooter arrived at his new home today, after 15 days and 3600 miles of travel. Plenty of stops along the way where he captured lots of hearts. His new Mom is absolutely smitten.
