My baby girl has finally gotten the hang of glucose tests and is very good about her shots . She’s feeling better and stopped peeing around the house for two weeks (suddenly had a couple in the last few days and I don’t know why)‍ Her “vet” who is totally useless said her #’s look good and should stay on 2 units 2x day but I never got a follow up to confirm…yes getting a new vet !!!!!
I know you can’t post about dosing , but if anyone has insight after looking at Zoey’s SS, I’d appreciate any insight.
I’m also confused about the random high and low readings. Am I doing the shots wrong? HOW DO YOU NOT DO ‘FUR SHOTS’— still learning

Can you update your spreadsheet please
You need to be getting more tests in after your PMPS shot ,you are missing half the picture
You can ask a question about doses
If you are following SLGS dosing method whenever you kitty drops below 90, which she has on 7-20 and 7-24 , you should have reduced the dose by 0.25 units
Also I see you switched to the Relion Meter can you state that in your signature please
You can put Relion as of 7-10
Tap in your name then tap on signature and put it then tap save

Fur shots, unfortunately, still happen from time to time even for those that have it down. The trick is to get to where it is very rare, I think.

This link has some great info on insulin dosing and different options for where to shoot, most use scruff but some find other spots work better for them:

So, this dose actually looks very good for her. The flipside is with the Hills m/d in the picture (assuming sig is up to date...I'm thinking maybe not since it says AT but SS says switched to ReliOn), we don't really want her under 90. So if you're still feeding that, I would reduce down to 1.75U for a little more cushion.
