Unsure if Insulin went into this system

Initially, I thought that the injections were easier than the BG testing. I changed my mind. I’m only giving my guy .5 units but every time I give him the injection I have this worried feeling that either there wasn’t enough insulin in the syringe, or that it dripped out somewhere, or when I injected it, it didn’t get in there. I only have one chance every 12 hours of giving him the insulin that he needs and if I think I screwed up, I have to wait another 12 hours. Has anyone else experienced this frustration? How can I be sure he got it?

Well, first it would be easier if we could see Tango's numbers. I know that we've asked this on another occasion but could you please set up a spreadsheet? The instructions are in this link.

The one thing you DO NOT want to do is give a second shot. This is because you don't know just how much insulin went in. Even if the needle goes in one side and out the other and you see insulin squirt across the room, do NOT give more insulin.

Also, can you please include what insulin you are using in your signature?
