unclear of readings

I just did the afternoon test and it was 167 (down from 348 this morning). Thinking I did something wrong in my testing I tested again a min later and it was 183. I'm hopeful that the reading are correct but confused why the readings would be that much different in just a min. Is that normal or am I maybe doing something wrong?

He is getting harder and harder to test, he doesn't like me holding his ear waiting for the blood, but he is still purring the whole time and I make sure I give him a treat each time, fail or not.

How long after the insulin was the 167 and the 183? Was not during the cycle or the PMPS?
Meter variance would account for the difference in the numbers…nothing to be concerned about.
However without a spreadsheet it is very hard to help you. Just getting random BGs tells us very little.
As I have mentioned before, @Bandit's Mom is happy to help you set up a SS. Then we can see what is going on much more easily.
Could you put what type of glucose meter you are using into the signature please?
