I've tried 2x to set up a spreadsheet. All went well until I tried to hyperlink it. So, when someone gets the time this weekend to help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Oh I definitely feel like that sometimes as well!

If you have the google sheets document pulled up, click “share” in the upper right corner, then copy the link.

On FDMB, hover over your username, then click “signature” on the left. In the signature text box, type “Claudio’s SS” or whatever you want to name it. Highlight the text then click on the little chain link icon. Paste the url you copied into the box and click “insert”. Then click “save changes”.

Please do! Although I realized I may have misunderstood your second post. Can you see the spreadsheet or were you saying that you cannot find it?

I did it !!!!! Somewhat. Now I have to figure out to fill in all the info boxes. Like dx date, insulin used, etc. Then I will need more help to figure out how to plug in what few numbers I have gotten. Guess back to the info pages.

Perfect! The link works! If you are in google sheets, you should be able to just click on the cell and type directly into the box and it will update automatically.

Keep in mind that you will have to work directly from the original sheet. If you click on the link in your signature, you can’t update that one

Now when I tried to enter the DX date, it types in white and then disappears when I close it out and reopen it to see if it "stuck". Well, tomorrow is another day. Geez.

Make sure you wear a face mask. This is what happened the last time I tried to force him out from under the bed. Hurt like all get out !! Learned my lesson. Not forcing him again. Just glad he didn't get my eyeball.

As for the text not showing up, is the text color maybe set to white? Along the little icons, there should be an “A”, if you click on it is the color set to black?

Type it here, not in the actual box (just type "Diagnosed: date) and hit Enter.
