Hello, I'm trying to order a glucose and ketone monitor. I've been trawling the forums and I think I have my answer about using one intended for humans (it's okay?), but I wondered if anyone has any UK recommendations?

Hi, sorry to be late to this...
A popular ketone meter with UK folks is the On Call GK Dual. It can test for blood and for ketones (different test strips), but many just use it for its ketone function, because other blood glucose meters are cheaper to use. There's also a pet version of the same meter, the Centrivet. But I understand this is more expensive to use than the human version.
I use the On Call GK dual for ketones. And I just use another human meter for BG tests.
