Just found a very good deal on Abbot Freestyle Lancets (200 per box; 28 gauge; exactly the same as their Alphatrak branded ones so fit the Alphatrak lancing device).

Here in Canada the Freestyle lancets are 28 gauge, fit the AlphaTrak lancet device just fine and are considerably less expensive than those labelled AT lancets!

Isn't is great that we get to share so much on this board? I love it!

Where do you think I got the tip about the Freestyle Lancets, eh?

I really like my Alphatrak Pokey Thing (technical term). It was great to find a cheaper way to feed it.

I think these lancets may also fit the Alphatrak lancet device. They look just like the Freestyle branded lancets, but don't have a glucometer model name. They're usually listed at £1.00 cheaper for a box of 200 than the sellers' prices for a box of 200 Freestyle-branded lancets.

I found one Cdn. retailer that sells those ones but here they are the same price as the Freestyle and I'd have to pay shipping. Funny how the prices (deals) differ so much from retailer to retailer and country to country!
