Hello everyone,
I'm looking for food suggestions in the UK for my Josie who is 13 years old diabetic and has pancreatitis.
Ideally it needs to be low carb, low fat, no cereal, no grains and single protein source for easy digestion for sensitive tummies. And something hopefully my cat will eat..
(If it had added supplements/omega oils for senior cats that'd be a fab bonus!)
Been searching and trying but so far none of the food we found and tried ticks all the boxes...:banghead:
Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
Many thanks! Really!:cat:

Hi Monica - did Josie suddenly go off the other food you found for her recently that she liked? That's what I'd call fickle!!!

I've had similar problems finding something my Sapphire will eat and tbh I don't think you can go wrong with the Miamor Mild Meal from Zooplus... specially good for sensitive tummies and has good content, lots of different flavours to change things around and available in boxes of six trays for £3.99. I've been buying the chicken and ham for Saff which she liked from the start, also tried chicken with fish (salmon or trout) varieties which also went down well, and last week I ordered the chicken and rabbit for seniors which I thought I'd try (Saff is seven) - she absolutely gobbles that up! So that would be my suggestion.

You could also try Animonda vom Feinstein (also from Zooplus - they are currently offering a megapack of 32 trays of assorted poultry varieties for £14.99).

Zooplus (I'm not on commission, honest, LOL) also have good deals on treats so I stock up with those when placing an order. Delivery is very quick, less than 48 hours!

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Hi Diana,
no thank goodness she still likes Ropocat but I think it is still much higher in fat than she should be eating so Im trying to reduce the fat content if possible.
Yes I contacted Zooplus already this morning for further advice on their food range.
I am trying to get her food that is only single source protein not mixed meat/fish within the same pouch/tin as it might be easier to digest.
Was just looking for recommendations in case someone out there had the same problems and found something suitable that worked or has some good suggestions what to try.

Thank you though, will read up on the ones you suggested above! :)
