UK FOOD LIST

@Elizabeth and Bertie -

Suggestion for addition to the list: Kattovit Sensitive Chicken (Zooplus). Paté consistency, limited ingredients (single protein source: chicken), low carb, fairly good phosphorus level. Haven't done the math on the other Kattovit varieties but they may be worth a gander. Does wonders for Saoirse's BG levels; just wish she liked eating it consistently. :(

We have two foods in Slovenia which are not in the list yet. I dont know if you can get it in UK (but maybe you can find them on the internet somewhere). First is Power of nature (Huhn 5,3% carbs) and second is Nuevo Turkey monoprotein (3,8%) and Nuevo chicken (3,5%) Both of that foods are made in Germany.

Thanks so much for this link, Sara.
I think there's a 'Power of Nature' DRY kibble food that is less than 10% calories from carbs... :woot:
That could be really good news for UK 'kibble-heads'.....

I'm going to order some and test it out on my youngsters (as treats) to see if they think it's yummy....
Will also try out the P of N canned food on my diabetic boy.... :)

Tačka loves P of N (huhn). That was the firts food i found after her diagnosis with relatively low carbs (5,3%). And canned food has really fine structure. :D

hmmm...Do i send you some?
Oh, bless you, Sara, what a kind thought. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I am going to order some canned and dry to try out, though. (And can keep some of the dry in the freezer in case any new UK'ers (with dry food addicted-cats) want to try it out....).
Until relatively recently some of us UK'ers were regularly buying food directly from small companies in Germany (!). Then Zooplus arrived here.... :)

We have zooplus (zoohit) too and most of my friends and occasionally I order things from this store. It s the best! And lot cheaper than food and other things in pet stores in Slo. And i get stuff in just 2-3 days.
BTW i have some friends in England (because we have problems with youth employment and a lot of young people go abroad) and i could send you something through them ;) I would take a time but it would be cheaper ;)
