Uh Oh..think I missed !

when I gave shot this morning and rubbed the spot,it felt a tad wet to me.Didnt know if I missed or not.So I got a BG at about 5+ and sure enough it was 255. He started out with 212 preshot and has been in the 2 digits around mid- cycle now,so I guess I goofed!! I wonder should I or could I move his pm shot up a little..about an hour?I have been wanting to put him on a earlier schedule anyhow.

With ProZinc, yes, you may shoot him an hour earlier if the glucose levels support doing so.

Fur shots happen. Always wait until the next shot time to give more.

My cat is on ProZinc and I have successfully given her a shot 1 hour early. Just make sure the BG levels are in the shootable range, and you might want to grab a +2 test to make sure he isn't dropping too fast.
