Maybe it's just me, but I'm confused here. I went from u40 syringes to u100 1/2cc with an insulin change. I'm just figuring out why I need a giant magnifying glass-this has 50 units on it. So, I order the 3/10cc syringes which are much easier to measur only 2 units. HOWEVER, I told my vet I needed 1/2 unit markings and there are no 1/2 unit markings. I talked to 3 pharmacist and they all look at me like I have 2 heads. So, do they even make a syringe with half unit markings? If so, could someine tell me EXACTLY how to get my hands on some? If not, it will be impossible for me to measure out .25 doses....

Walmart.

Has the 3/10cc insulin syringes with half unit markings. Even if the person behind the counter says they do not, they have them. Open the box to double check. About $12 for a box of 100.

BD make a 3/10cc syringe with half unit markings.
Terumo makes a nice 3/10 cc syringe with half unit markings.

You can shop on-line but most states require a prescription from your vet. You could use our shopping partner ADW to find these syringes.
