And it was at +8. Leaves me wondering where she was at +6 or 7....
She has thrown a few lower PS's as well is the past few days. While I like where this is headed, I don't like it happening NOW! If her numbers stayed the same as before I would have known that 2u was safe to give and she would get just below renal threshold and then rise back in to the 300s. Now, it seems like her dose is needing adjustment at every turn.
At least my older sister, arriving first, had a diabetic and knows how to test. She can text me her numbers and I might be able to suggest a dose.
I have Cami's lactalose down to .6ml from a high of 3 ml. She had started at 1ml and her BG was controllable with .15u of lev, then she jumped to 3ml and her BG just soared. Even getting her down to 1ml didn't make a difference, but now it seems to be.
Like I said, just not great timing.
