Hello!
Thank you so much for all help, caring, encouragement for us.
When I came to FDMB, I was in panic thinking I'd lose Tux.
You kindly made a thread for us, then made Tux's spreadsheet. We were given step by step help and advice here.
We changed from Vetsulin insulin to Lantus insulin, and moved to L&L Land.
Tux is saved by you, and he is now OTJ. :cat:

Congratulations on the OTJ!!!

I well remember your first post on here and the terrible and dangerous advice your vet was giving you. I am SO glad you came to FDMB and learned what was best for your Tux kitty. You are the one who saved your kitty by listening to your gut instincts. And now you have him OTJ. How wonderful!!

Don't forget to still do some tests from time to time to make sure his numbers don't start to go up again, as can happen with some OTJ kitties.

Thank you Bunny's mom (or dad) and Mogs! :bighug:

I wrote a review sharing our experience with the vet to protect other diabetic cats and dogs and their beans, and for the vet to learn and become a good vet.
The owner responded to my review... saying the team did all correct things. He even didn't ask how my cat was doing! (Tux could have been dead if I kept following the vet's advice! Two vets with other places also said that the advice was very wrong.)
What a shame...

OMG... I just found that my Yelp review is deleted!
