Turtle has been on .5u BID for a week now. I had increased it from .25u BID.

I did a curve today and she was in the 300s most of the day. When I started the .5 last week she seemed to respond pretty well but now she's creeping up again.

Any suggestions? I guess I need to go up again. I don't feel like I'm ever going to have any success with this. She starts out responding well to a dose increase, but then it's like it just stops "taking." At least she never goes up into 400's, so that's an up side I guess! :?

Thanks for taking a look!

Well, she threw me a curve ball last night....in the 300's most of the day, but then dropped into low 200's in the night:

PMPS 291
+3 284
+5 226
+8 241
+12 (AMPS) 228

So I stuck with the .5 this morning...I'll get some numbers throughout the day today and see what happens.

It's weird....her PMPS is almost always the same, but her AMPS's vary widely on alternate days...yellow, purple, yellow, purple.

This li'l girl is keeping me on my toes to be sure!!

Phooey....no green, not even any blue:

AMPS 228 .5u
+2.5 267
+5 233
+8 260
I'm sure she'll be right up there around 280-290 at PMPS.

No 300s, which is good, but I think an increase is still warranted. Would .8 be too much (I'm using the u40 insulin with the u100 syringes, so that would be easier to measure than .75)?

Thanks!
Avery

Agree that an increase is warranted. .8 would be fine.
