Turmeric use

Does anyone have experience with using turmeric internally for cats? I personally use it and I give it to my dog, but I didn't know that you could give it to cats until just a little bit ago.
 
Depending on where in the world and what strength just remember to wash up thoroughly afterwards.
Turmeric powder, however, is a strong natural dye yielding a vibrant gold color.
I had to Google 'tumeric' and everything was very positive until the story about the woman in Thailand who used it on her cat's ears. You can guess the rest.

Was that the story where a white cat became gold?
 
Yup, that's the one. This is why 'directions for use' is still on shampoo bottles.
I worked at a cosmetics company once. We sold some kind of honey based wax on/wax off hair remover and of course someone called the help desk because they had let the honey wax completely harden and couldn't put their arms down anymore. First your pants, then your shoes!

You've never seen The 40 year old virgin? The scene with him getting his back waxed was not adlibbed and the woman was a real beautician/back waxer.
 
I started him on a turmeric supplement to try to help inflammation in his body. But I read it can lower blood glucose. :banghead:
