Trying to get smokey to eat normal again

Tonight his BGL was 228 and he ate 1.5 oz of Sheba Gravy cuts. I gave him his regular dose at normal time and am going to try to get him to eat a little more later. I'm starting to feel defeated when it comes to getting him to eat.
I'm also very anxious to recieve my ketone meter in the mail tomorrow so I can test for that. He has no other symptoms really besides lack of appetite and I'm praying for good results!!

Eating is a big challenge. All I can offer is to have many different appropriate foods. Sometimes they just aren't hungry.

Crumbled freeze dried treats or catnip on top of food works here. Getting them to eat has to be the hardest thing. Good luck.

I tried to cat nip.. he didnt eat it. He just rubbed his face all over it
