I have a true result meter I have been keeping mainly as a backup. It comes from Good Neighbor pharmacy and is stamped with both the Good Neighbor and True logo. Several other chains incuding Publix and Walgreens also carry True Resut meters and strpis that are also labeled with the chain's name. The question I have is would the Walgreens or Publix strips work in the Good Neighbor meter I have? My theory is that this is the same product and the True Result makers are just stamping the chains name on the outside of the meter and box of strips. If this is true, they should be interchangable. However, I didn't want to try my idea and be stuck with thirty five dollars worth of test strips I can't return. Does anyone have any experience with ths?

They should be interchangeable. It is not uncommon for pharmacies to have there name placed on meters. CI would a insure that the strips look like the ones that work for you and compare the strip boxes too.

I found that the ReliOn is made by ArKray and unbranded, is called the GlucoCard 01.

Same meter, same strips, just labeled differently.

Thanks for the info. I suspected that they were the same meters and strips with just different names stamped on it. I looked on the back of the meter and it was made in Fort Lauderdale . That is probably why almost all of the stores here in South Florida carry these meters. INow I know their secret to try and keep people going back to one particular store. :-). LOL

The strips should be interchangeable, as True is the name brand. If this is the same as the TrueTrack meter... I found strips for mine on Amazon for 1/2 the price as the ones in the pharmacy... 100 for $50.
