She's almost done with her cage time. She's getting much more active and a little crazy! When I let her out of her cage I leash her so che can't go far. Today I caught her climbing the outside of the crate twice. :o She's bored I guess. Back in the crate she goes. She also rough houses with Merlin which isn't allowed either. As soon as that happens, it's back in the crate.

Since she's been recuperating he's gotten food aggressive. :!: Tonight he actually hissed over a freeze dried chicken treat. UGH. He was a little food aggressive when she first got here but he got over it. I don't like seeing him hiss. He doesn't do it all the time, thank goodness. Tonight I let him lick a plate with a tiny amount of melted vanilla icecream and he let her lick it too. So, who knows.

She goes in Tuesday for her x-rays. I hope she's all healed so we can all go back to normal life.

All clickable thumbs.
He's literally laying on top of her. She gets mad after a while.

Here they found a way to share the bed!

I hope her upcoming xray will allow her to be released from the cage, as nice as it is. She probably has tons of pent up energy to get out of her system!

You have such pretty babies traci! I think merlin will stop hissing when things get 100% back to normal .. Sending lots of good thoughts your way, for a perfect X ray result!

Thanks Devon - you are such a doll.

PS - I've got Merlin locked in Trink's cage right now because he kept wrestling with her. Bad boy! He's in there trying to get out and talking up a storm.

Poor Trink! They duped us! We thought that if the x-rays were good yesterday that she'd get her "Out of Jail Free" card. No such luck. While her x-rays were great, it's only 80% healed. That means - no playing, no running, no climbing and no rough housing (Merlin's face= :o ) but other than that she can do whatever she wants!

Also, regarding the bloody mucus in her poop, the ER vet said if it happens again she'd call in a perscription to my regular vet so I wouldn't have to pay for an exam. No clue what the script would be. I was told by the vet tech that it was like asking a brain surgeon about a hang nail. Welll.....pardon me!!!!
