Hi ok here is my issue he is in such low numbers and I have to start a new vile of insulin and will be out from +1 to +5 anyway what do you suggest I do worried about the insulin being new and him being left alone.....will post his PMPS and I most likely can get a +1 but that will not be much help if I can`t be here .... :YMSIGH: @-) nailbite_smile Thank you for all your help

Unless your place was really hot last night, there is a chance the insulin is still good. People who use insulin store it outside the fridge once it's opened, and it's supposed to be good for 28 days after that. So as long as it's still clear and you don't see any floaties, I'd stick with the old insulin. There've been a few people here who've accidentally left the insulin out overnight.

Depending on Trey's PMPS and +1 value, you might want to leave out some MC or HC food for him to munch on if you are worried. Do you have an autofeeder? When I've been worried about Neko I've given her a gravy topper to her autofeeder meals.

BTW, Trey's starting to look really good now. :-D :cool:

Thank you for that info but being extra careful I am staying home with my boy...I already discarded the old insulin as I have lots just with lantus it says to keep in fridge ....I have 4 more vile of the pen ones it was all the drugstore had . I will keep up the way we are going .....Hugsssssssssssss
