Tresaderm

My cat Ember has an ear infection and the vet put her on Tresaderm to treat it. Her blood sugar was 171 before the drops and a week later it is now 293. Is there any other ear drops anyone would recommend for her ear infection? I am new to having a diabetic cat and did not correlate the steroids in the drops to her high gluclose levels.

It depends upon the problem with the ear.
Baytril Otic typically works for bacterial infection
Conifite for fungal/yeast infections

Baytril has worked for Furball and not raised her BG. I gave her Tresaderm once and it spiked her BG.

I've also had success with this from 1800PetMeds.
