We are doing a curve today and I couldn't get comet out from my roommates bed to test him so I had to bribe him with a treat. We do not normally give treats since his diagnosis but when we do we give freeze-dried salmon or tuna. After the treat I tested it and it was 110 and two hours prior had been 79 I am not sure if this ruined my curve or of it is fine?

The freeze dried salmon and tuna should be low carb, and not influence the BG. What brand are you using and perhaps we can look up the ingredients to check.
I just responded to your new thread in Community and Off Topic.

There are other low carb treats like Pure Bites Freeze dried chicken, we use small pieces of boiled or baked chicken breast. All protein, no carbs.

I found that the Merrick Backcountry freeze dried salmon treats for cats has:
Ingredients
Salmon, Whitefish, Dried Peas, Dried Potatoes, Gelatin, Salt, Mixed Tocopherols (preservative).

Guaranteed Analysis
Crude protein (min.) 49.00%, Crude fat (min.) 10.00%, Crude fiber (max.) 3.00%, Moisture (max.) 6.00%

So you have peas, potatoes, gelatin and salt. I don't know if gelatin is good or bad, but what's the point for a cat? I would find a low carb alternative if you can. The Pure Bites Freeze Dried Chicken is better, but if you go that way, buy the big bag for dogs. It's the same thing, just bigger pieces and you can break them down. The larger bag is less cost per ounce. Small pieces of boiled chicken breast or even thigh is good, a bit of tuna, or if your cat likes tuna, then bonito flakes that you can get at any Asian food store. Lots of options out there and it might really help the testing process if Comet gets rewarded and comes to realize this isn't all a bad thing.

I have bags and more bags of Temptation treats. Little did I know they really mess up sugar levels. On the plus side they actually get Lewis to move his large posterior and his current record for catching them in mid air is 11. See how I managed to add 100 extra words to this post?
The better answer would have been don't use Temptation treats.
I can't help myself sometimes. :(
