Barb, even though I haven't known you and Tori, your words about Tori just touched me so much. What a beautiful gift she gave you last night and also showing you this morning that it was time for her to fly free. What a brave, strong kitty she was and I know words can never be enough right now, but hoping the words from all these incredible people on LL can ease your pain a little.

(((((((BARB))))))) I just cant stop crying, but know that the Love between you & Tori was so strong, it will still continue on forever...You could not have loved her more, done more for her, been there for her.
She went with dignity & surrounded by that Love she had all her Life--
I believe that Love never ends, so she will never be far from you & you will be together someday.

Dear Barb,
I always wish I knew something special to say to take away the awful pain of losing our most precious ones. Tori - such a special girl with such a wonderful mom! I felt so lucky to get to meet you and hear more about her when you came to visit. Both of you will always be held close to my heart. Sending the most warmest of thoughts ever. Please take care of yourself! Tori is young and healthy again - but this is such a difficult time for you now.

That last gift of love is so very difficult, and probably the reason it's the biggest gift we can give (other than loving them in the first place. Tori will forever be in all of our hearts and I am sure she is keeping an eye on you from the rainbow bridge.

Barb, I'm crying reading your loving post about Tori and the special, unbreakable bond you share. I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious girl. I love the thought that she's having a wonderful reunion. She's bouncing around, catching everyone up, I'm sure. My heart goes out to you....hugs.
 
Welcome, beautiful, brave Tori, to the Bridge, where we all are free of illness and pain and where we love to run and play and eat good food. Dear Barb, Your Warrior Princess is flying free on her new golden wings. Her spirit is soaring and lighting up the heavens. She will always be with you and with her dear Ayanna. I sit here now crying the tears I had to hold back all day.
I have been following Tori's journey for a while now, and I thank you for sharing her last moments with us.
Just the other day I was looking at my FDMB calendar and realizing how many had passed. So sad... yet, those wonderful beautiful angels are with each other now.

Hi everybody. I can't even begin to tell you how much the outpouring of love for my little girl has meant to me today. To know that she was so loved by so many makes my grief a little easier to bear. Tori is such an amazing little spirit. It is my hope that she will continue to inspire all those who hear her story. Yes she was feisty, stubborn, brave and had the most incredible will to live of any creature human or feline that I have ever seen. She lived life to the fullest and loved her family like we were the most wonderful people who ever existed - warts and all.

Just awhile ago as I read Ella's post the most beautiful picture came to my mind. There were all of our kitties at the Bridge having the most wondrous feast. They were all sitting around a great table in their best finery. Tori was at the head of the table dressed in a teal gown with the most beautiful golden wings I have ever seen. Tiga was by her side grinning from ear to ear. Master Chef Stu was managing the kitchen as only he can do. The frail and tired looking Tori was gone and in her place was the majestic looking Tori. This vision gives me great comfort. Our babies are happy and healthy again there. They are waiting for us and are so patient.

Boy have I ever done some major rambling today. The wonderful thing is that I can do it here and not feel that I will be rejected because everyone here "gets it". We truly are a family and a family of the best kind. I am so blessed to be part of this family. And by the way if you think you're finally getting rid of me well guess what - I ain't going anywhere. Luv you all.
 
and just when i thought i could stop crying... your vision of the table, and food shared, at the bridge is wonderful. They are happy, healthy - what a comfort. You rest well tonight - your girl is watching over you.

Barb, I'm reading the news very late. I'm so very sorry to hear that Tori has gone to the Bridge. From all the love shown here all day long, she must have been quite a remarkable kitty. When the time is right, I would love to hear her story and see her picture. My heart goes out to you!

Oh Barb... I'm so very sorry for your pain, but I know that Tori is in a better place. She was ready to go, even if we weren't ready to let her go.

I can't believe that the little warrior princess has gone to the bridge... Tori - you will be so missed. I hope you meet up with my baby Kasha at the bridge.

(((Barb))) I am so very sorry for your loss. Tori will always be in my heart and in my memories as Lantus Land's brave fighter. I think that the hardest part of fighting is knowing when it is time to stop fighting, and you and Tori have bravely made this hardest decision together. I know that Bear Man is showing Tori all of the sunniest spots at the bridge now, and that they and Tiga and all of their GA friends are together there.
 
I know how you must be feeling, but you can rest in the fact that you did the right thing and made her passing so loving and peaceful. I am sure that cat received all the affection and care anyone could give, and for that you can be proud.

I am so sorry. I dreaded checking in today for fear that I would see this very post by you. They do certainly tell us when it is time. Those of us that have been through this, that have gone through this painful experience (and that is most of us), certainly can agree with that. And thankfully, you listened to what your Tori was telling you. And while she is waiting for you to reunite, she will love you all the more for honoring her request. I know that doesn't take the pain away that you're feeling now...but you know that it will.

Again, I am so very sorry. I know how much you love your girl...

I'm sorry that you had to make this decision, but glad that you had some special time with her and that she told you it was her time and that you heard her. I am saddened to hear of this news. There is no doubt your positive energy (which was abundant) allowed Tori to thrive much longer than she would have w/o it. The love was so apparent between the two of you.

Another candle was added to Latte's 'shrine' yesterday, in honor of another Warrior Princess...moving onward to do another job, the one of an angel.
