Tooth fell out...

Went to sit down where Electra had been sleeping earlier and I found her remaining lower fang on the chair. She had been bopped by a cabinet door earlier in the evening, but I didn't see where she was smacked and it wasn't that hard. Her lower right fang was removed about 3.5 yrs ago, and a lower incisor removed 2 years ago, and I always thought that her gums looked too red, but Vet always told me that her teeth looked fine. Not sure what to do at the moment- no bleeding/pus, she is acting normally and has eaten some soft food tonight but not sure if that was before or after, or both, since losing the tooth. Sent Vet an email, but of course they are closed over the weekend- mostly asked if it can wait until Monday to call the office. She has an appointment, but not until July 8. Any advice? There is a different vet office that has emergency hours on Saturdays, but I am not sure if this requires an emergency visit or if I am just worried when it can wait until Monday.

Unless you start seeing definite signs of infection, it can wait until Monday.

I found 2 of China's teeth in the carpet and never knew when she actually lost them!

Just as an update; the Vet was not too concerned; there was no blood and Electra has been eating normally. We already had an appt July 7th (not 8th as I first thought) so she may be getting an x-ray along with her blood tests for the diabetes progress. Her numbers have been pretty steady, though I have been reducing her dose for the lower numbers- so hard guessing what might work best with her pre-med numbers some days, but we haven't been skipping recently.
