BG- 207 before shot...Fed after reading and then decided not too shoot...her numbers from almost 9 days ago were at 352, same time. I'm seeing her original level at 499 come down to 207, even with food. So, we decided not to give any insulin. Is this correct? I was going to give like a half unit...She is currently to be on 1 unit in am and pm but this morning, her level was at 247 and only gave half unit and now 207 pre shot and pre food...WAs not sure. If she was like 280-500 then yes, but not sure at 207...What to do????

Can't help with the dosing.

NB - Can you post which insulin Patches is being treated with so that members will have better information and therefore be able to make better suggestions for you.

Mogs...Vetsulin...Perhaps this....what is the rule of thumb to give or not to give based on the numbers...

With very little data the usual guidance here is not to give insulin below 200. You can stall without feeding for 30 minutes to see if the number rises above the 200, and then make the decision. It might give you more time to get an answer from other members.
