After 3 doses of pepcid for Phoebe I just realized I am giving 1/4 of a 20 mg tablet not 10 mg. Could this be the reason for her decreased appetite

Not sure if it would reduce the stomach function to a point of not wanting to eat. It is an acid reducer maybe...
I haven't heard of it decreasing appetite but it might cause some indigestion if the acid is reduced so much that the gastric juices aren't enough to digest the food. Just a thought.
I've had Leo on 1/2 of a 10mg pepcid twice a day for short periods of time but he is a pretty large cat. I didn't notice any decrease in appetite at the time.
