Too late for Rina

Hi,

I'm new here, only registered a couple of days ago after learning my baby, Rina, was diagnosed with diabetes. Reading the information here gave me such hope we would make it through this despite her other ailments (pancreatis & CRF). Unfortunately, it all caught up with her and she left this world last night. I was SO lucky to be there when she came into the world and when she left (16 years, 7 mos, and 11 days). She was my soul mate through and through. I know we'll meet again someday but until then, my heart will ache.

Thank you for this wonderful place, full of information and very caring people.

I am SO sorry for your loss. What a beauty Rina was. She must be the most gorgegous angel. She was truly a special kitty and you shared a most special life and bond. That love will stay with you.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your beautiful Rina. So very sad you were not given much time to help her but so thankful that you were there and with her when she passed on.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful girl. It is so very hard when we have had them as companions for so long. My little girl left me only six days ago. She was a few months shy of her 18th birthday. Just remember all the good times, and how much you loved her. She knew how much........
 
So sorry for your loss. By the look of that picture (cat spots and toys all over), her 16+ years were lived in the home of a loving family. Nothing short of what a gorgeous cat like her deserves. You will see her again, and until that time she'll be thinking of you as well.

The love you shared with each other is eternal. Rina will always be embedded in your heart. Rina is now an Angel watching over you.

I am so sorry to see this post and see that you were unable to keep Rina with you longer. Sometimes no matter what we do, it just doesn't help and their little bodies just can't go on. What a beautiful girl she was (I guess I'm a little partial to those "meezers.")

My heart goes out to you in your sadness but what a wonderful, long life you had together - she must have been dearly loved to be so healthy for so long - and what wonderful memories you must have to remember - having shared so many years.

I'm sending so many comforting prayers and hugs and vibes your way tonight and hoping that love and those memories will once again bring a smile to your lips and ease your grief. She is free of any pain now - and will never hurt again -

I'm so sorry for your loss of your sweet Rina...she was a beauty.

I so understand the loss of a 'soul mate' kitty, as Thomas was that for me, as well. I lost him just 5 weeks ago at 17.

I hope in time the ache in your heart will heal, and you will remember only the wonderful times you shared and how much you loved each other. You will be together again one day..in the meantime, Rina will be lovingly watching over you, wherever you may be, with her brand new angel wings, flying free and whole once again.
