I had to say goodbye to my beautiful little love bug Tonka yesterday. Thanks to this wonderful group, I was able to keep him healthy and strong for 7 years after getting him "off the juice" in 2015. Diabetes (and eventually CKD) was unable to bring him down - it was just old age catching up with him. Still not easy to lose such a character, but thank you to this group for giving me as many more years that we did have together.

I am so sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to Tonka. It is never easy saying goodbye to our beloved kitties.
It is a wonderful success story and he lived to a wonderful age.

A lovely ripe old age, defeating FD and CKD (such a trooper Tonka Love Bug!!!!!) is the best thing we can all hope for, for our kitties.
Well done to you for getting him through it all in a loving, caring home!!!!! A very good life.
