Please take a look at Tommy's numbers. Had a short run in the 200's. On the 23rd I intended to test in a couple of hours, got sidetracked and forgot. His PMPS wasn't too bad after no insulin. What can you suggest to get those 400's into the 200-300's? I'm home today so I will get another test or two before PMS. Thanks!

If you can get some midcycle numbers, maybe I can set up a little bit of a sliding scale for you so you shoot a little more consistently in the reds and a little less in the yellows. I think he is definitely bouncing. The insulin dropped him 200 points already today. If he drops lower at nadir, then I'd say say maybe trim the dose a little for the 400s and see if he will flatten out.

I will test again at nadir and post the results. I think he is very sensitive to the insulin. It was nice to see the lower numbers for awhile. Thanks, Sue.

Sandy...

Sue is wonderful at setting up sliding scales. She did an awesome job setting-up and tweaking one for Rumpelteazer....it did take a while to get through all the "tweaks"...BUT...it worked. :-D

The key is to keep your ss updated and try to get those nadir tests in. This gives the info we all need to see how a particular dose is working.

Best Of Luck....You Are In Good Hands (Paws). :-D

Tommy's +10 was 297. Since tomorrow I work early and will test/earlier in the morning would it be ok to shoot in an hour and feed now? That would make tomorrow morning at 12 hours.

Cautiously, yes, you can shoot earlier.

The nadir was OK, but unless you can test overnight, maybe back off the dose a smidge if shooting earlier. This is because you could encounter some overlap between the 2 doses which might result in a lower than anticipated glucose level.

Decided to wait and shot at PS. Gave .6 unit. I will post tomorrow what he is at AMPS. I'm off this weekend and as it looks like it will be quite cold, we will probably stay home and keep warm.
