Good morning to all, and Happy new year! I have been so busy at work and putting in long hours. I just updated Tommy's SS. As you can see he has been more consistent in the 200's AMPS. I raised his insulin a little in the mornings to see if we can get a lower PMPS. I'm going to do this for a while and maybe raise again by .2 in a few days. I think that if I can gradually bring his numbers down, then maybe we can trick his body into not bouncing at lower levels. Am I on the right track with this?

My Tommy is a hoot! He has been playing ninja cat with whatever is left on the floor. I have to keep paper up where he can't reach it or he has it all torn to shreds by the time I get home. He is so precious. When I get home from work he usually hops on the bed ready for his poke so he can eat. In the mornings he wakes me up by putting his cold nose all over my face. Lately he has even been PURRING through his poke!! dancing_cat

Yes, love to hear when they get back to normal or even better than normal! Hurrah!

Can you get some midcycle numbers? I wouldn't raise the dose without knowing what is happening. The yellow preshots are lovely - just wondering how low he is going or if he is flat......

I will get a +4.5 and post it. I leave for work before I can get a nadir. We are short staffed right now so it will be a long 8 day run before a day off. I will probably get Tues or Wed nadirs as I'm off then. I have to shop one of those days and need to go to the city with the Walmart, 40 miles away. Either way I will get some mid-cycle numbers. DH has been giving all kitties a snack at least 2 hours before I get home so they leave him alone. His consequence for not testing, ha! He gives them some left over meat. We don't usually add anything to our meat so it is better for all of us. Thanks again, Sue. Much appreciate your insight.
