I'm a little more encouraged by Tommy's recent numbers. Except for a couple of contraband treats that spiked his BG, I think he is doing pretty well. No ketones. I'm thinking I'll stay at 1.2 for another couple of days and then if he stays in the 200's, would I increase to 1.4? Thanks.

Sandy

I agree that I'd see if he'll settle into the 1.2 The blue was encouraging and there could have been a lower number earlier in that cycle so I am thinking lower rather than higher on the dose if the 1.2 doesn't do it. But let's see what more numbers show…..

So what you are saying is that if he settles in the 1.2 dose, that by lowering the dose his pancreas may kick in and help out? Will this at sometime in the future be instrumental in his going OTJ? Thanks.

No crystal ball here. I am just thinking his numbers are looking better on the lower dose. But he can certainly prove me wrong; they so often do.....

Thanks, Sue. I know this can change at any given time. I hope he is finally on a downward trend. I know, more mid-cycles!
I just came off on a 9 day stretch. Lazy day with all 4 of my fur babies.
