Today is National Black Cat Day

A big shout out to all the black cats today!! Today’s Holiday is to raise awareness about the low adoption rates for black cats. It is how I came to adopt 3 of 4 black cats 10 1/2 years ago from a feral who wandered into my backyard with the kittens . People had superstitions about them & we were only able to find one kitten a home (that I trusted). Needless to say, our gain because our family wouldn’t be the same without them !!

It's all good Paula. I feel like Tuxies should count. My soul kitty Mateo (GA) was mostly black tuxie with white whiskers. Lou seems to be an even mix of black and white. Regardless, I absolutely LOVE black kitties. They're the absolute best!
