Baxter had his lowest #'s last night since being DX Nov 12.
I have tested him twice the morning. Before (#175) & after (#192) his food. I feel like he is on the border of to shoot or not to shoot.
I know my vet would say to give .5 (ProZInc). I know FDMB would say don't shoot under 200. RIght?

The complication is that he ate. Next time, don't feed him as you are testing to see if he comes up enough. You can't be sure that he came up on his own or that the food brought him up. You want to be sure he is headed up on his own, not down before you shoot.

What is your day like? Can you test again in an hour? Can you work around a possibly altered shooting schedule?

Yes , I can test him in a hour. I gave him .5. I am thinking now I did wrong?
I tested him at 6am-110
8am before feeding 175
8:40 after feeding 192
9:10-197

You are fine, Jenn. You established that he was headed up before the food. .5 was a great choice.

Bad news: kinda scary to decide what to do with low numbers
Good news: low numbers!

@Bad News...yes, not sure about those. He didn't eat as much last night. Plus, he walked around more than he has lately. Walked to the neighbors with me & back. Maybe those combined?
All I know is I am so tired from testing him late last night & early this morning. I need some sleep...lol. I-)
