To Reduce or Not?

Since he is a long term diabetic (over 1 year from dx), and since he has returned from remission, I would wait until you see a below 40 to reduce the dose. That could happen today, or any time. Keep testing for it. I think it is near.

Tricia --

It looks like from your comments on the SS that you were checking Cinco every 30 min. while numbers were low. It would be helpful to know what the results were. You can either put the numbers in the comments section or, you can stack then in the appropriate time cell. (You can look at Gabby's SS for an example.) You'll have to manually adjust the color coding, though.

Dyana is right -- usually with a longer term diabetic we make it a little harder to get a reduction. However, if you felt like you were working to get Cinco's numbers up, it may be worth considering reducing the dose. If it was challenging to bring the numbers up, I'd think about shaving the dose vs. taking the fll 0.25u reduction.
