To give insulin or not Spice

Hi David,

I'm sorry no one was around to respond. Did you take Spice to the vet today? How did she come out?

If you need an immediate response and don't get one here please post on health, there is more traffic over there during the day.

With those red numbers - Spice needs *some* insulin. I think there is rarely a case in this instance for no insulin - as many have advocated before. Please come back with an update for us! Not eating for 36 hours is not good at all nailbite_smile
 
Hi David, nice to see you around. Sorry Spice is having problems. :cry:

This may be too belated to be useful if you have already gone to the vets, but if she is not eating, I would give 1/2 dose of the insulin. That is what the specialist vet told me, and there was a thread on Think Tank not too long ago discussing that even if not eating, they do still need insulin in their systems.

Let us know how she is doing! Hoping she is feeling better by now. :-D
