Just want to let you know how TK is doing. He slept most of last night, poor little guy was just so worn out. I gave him several small doses of propectalin yesterday to try and get his leaking diarrhea under control. This morning, when I woke up, I found him sitting on the counter in the kitchen, looking out the window. After I got my outside cats fed, walked Angel (my dog), fed her, and fed my porch cats, I got food ready for Speedy and TK. Speedy dug right into her breakfast, but TK, as he started to eat, he must have had a gas attack......he leaked several small drops of liquid poo, then he took off, back to the kitchen. I picked his food up and followed him. I have a piece of something similar to drywall that I keep across my stovetop (to keep kitties from scratching the glass top), so I placed his food there. He did come over to it, so I left him in his privacy. He did eat most of his breakfast.......so it's looking like if I can just get his diarrhea under some control maybe he'll be ok. I have no where to go today, so I plan on getting a lot more propectalin into him today. My vet was a little concerned about me using propectalin for TK, but in all honesty it's never ever caused him to become constipated. Those of you that remember TK and Radar back in their kitten days know the intestinal issues I've had with them both before. In the past, I've tried slippery elm bark, probiotics, canned pumpkin, etc all to no avail. I'm just hoping that he'll stop dripping. I know his little bum is raw and sore. But, he does seem to be feeling a bit better, at least he ate!
Anyway, please keep TK in your thoughts and prayers......I do appreciate it very much! Thank you! (((((Hugs)))))
