Tip below 300 for the first time in a while

This is awesome, I tested 3 times and she ran ~273-280 something. But she isn't eating much. She has eaten SOME, I'll check how many ounces she's eaten in a second. I'm unsure how to handle this? Yeah, she's still on 3U of humulin N(I WISH my vet would change, despite having given her the readings), but does this mean it's working again? Or? Should I hold steady at 3U? I'm probably all confused because I can't remember how to handle this number anymore. If I do stick at 3U and just test close to nadir so that I can see if she'll go low? I THINK that's what I should do, but wanted to run it past everyone here to make sure.

EDIT: First, sorry I haven't updated the SS, I do have the numbers written down though. Also, she ate 3.9oz, I think that's plenty for her to get her full dose? But should I still monitor her closely? I don't want her to bounce.
 
Wish I'd seen this earlier.
I would have suggested a little less than 3u if that 280 was her preshot number. Only because she's dropped 250 points or more on that dose before. But yes, you should monitor her and see how low she goes before her normal nadir. (I'm basing this on the numbers that are on the SS so far.)

Eep, I'm hoping she won't drop too low for that, +2 after the shot(+2 is about 10pm), she was a 219. So I did give her some canned food to help curb it a bit before her nadir. Should I check back at +3, which is a couple,e of minutes from now, or just wait until +4?

EDIT: Decided to test her at +3 anyways, I feel it's good I did, she's at 147. I'm thinking of offering her a little bit of dry food, should I?
 
No, I might offer her a bit more canned food, but try to stay away from the dry if possible. It takes longer to have an effect, and the effect lasts longer. I think you're okay with just canned. When is her normal nadir?

From the mid-cycle tests on your SS, it looks like maybe +4 to +5 is nadir time?

Alright, I have left some canned food out for her, she's eating it now. Yeah, it's around that, her normal nadir is at +4 from what I've seen. Yeah, something like that, I know it's closer to it's lowest around +3 to +4 from what I've seen. Either way, I'll be testing again at +4.
