Sorry I seem to be asking a lot of questions these days.
Having transitioned Errol onto wet food (every time I think about it I want to do a :RAHCAT ) I have a dilemma. What it says on the tin (400 grams) is not what Errol is actually eating. They reckon a tin a day, sometimes more. Well, my chubby kitty would be a blobby kitty if he ate that much. It does worry me that he's not getting the required minerals / vitamins etc necessary for his desired body weight (probably +-6kg) as opposed to the 6.7kg he is now if he's not eating their recommended amount of food.
Also, he's always very hungry in the morning, not very hungry and lunch and relatively hungry at night so I couldn't get him to eat that much even if I wanted to. Eventually I will get him onto a homemade semi raw wet diet, but until then we have to do with tins & sachets.
What's the opinion on amounts to feed?
