Tinkerbell coming out of remission?

126 is only just over 120 so at this point I would just monitor the BSL. Try feeding Tinkerbell then taking BSL a couple of hours later. If the BSL drops then the Pancreas is doing its job. Last night before food it was 104 then 3 hours later it was 95 so that indicates the pancreas is working well.

She's a little bit higher than usual, yes, but not wildly so. It is unusual to see blues when she's been in the greens for a while now, but it's probably not necessary to take her to the vet just yet. She may have a bit of infection or something may be stressing her, these things can raise bg as you know. I'd keep an eye on her and her numbers for another day or two and see what's what then. Try not to worry!

A cat's blood glucose can spike for all sorts of reasons. As others have said, Fiona, just keep an eye on the BG at this point. As long as the number are, by majority, in normal range, it's all fine.

It's not all that strange really, Fiona, there is very little difference in the numbers you've been getting and as we've said, small variations aren't unusual or abnormal. You're being very conscientious which is good but you don't need to be too concerned... of course is she suddenly shoots up much higher that's another matter.

Fiona, I really wouldn't worry too much. Her numbers are still good. She does seem to be very slightly higher at the moment but that could just be because of the warm weather. Of course, if she is showing signs of being unwell in any way, then yes, take her to the vet. I would suggest that you continue to keep an eye on her numbers and if they start going up more dramatically, then see what the vet has to say. But for now, these are decent non-diabetic numbers.

Hi........check her teeth for any odors, inflammation in the gums, redness, etc.........sometimes tooth infections will cause BG levels to increase. Unfortunately that did it for Davidson and brought him out of remission. Your BG's seem fine for now but keep a watch and test, test, test if you think something is wrong

Hi everyone, she’s been lethargic the last couple of days so I took her to a vet who said she seems fine after doing their own bg test and feeling her.
It has of course been hot, however she’s been more lethargic than my other cat. Also growling and hissing at my other cat when she walked near her. Also her ears have been constantly warm every time I’ve gone to test her. Been checking my other cats and they are not always warm.
Last night I took her to an emergency vets who said her temperature and bg is fine. They took a urine sample and said there were no ketones. They also tested her urine for an infection and said I should call my normal vet in the morning for a result. When they listened to her heart, they said she has a heart murmur and suggested I get a heart scan at my normal vets.
I found the results from my normal vets this morning and they said the urine showed some protein and white blood cells so they think she could have an infection. I have gone to buy a course of antibiotics from them called clavaseptin. They said this is fine with diabetes but I wondered what you all thought? I haven’t given any yet.
