timing of insulin shots

Becasue of my work schedule this week I will not be home to give my cat his insulin shot at the recommended 12 hour spacing. Will it make much of a difference if it is 15 hours?

It will make a huge difference if that schedule is permanent, and would just be disruptive for the times there is a difference.

I don't know how to make a schedule of 15/9 work.... what are your exact hours; maybe you can aim for something closer to 12/12?
 
It can be done. About two year ago I was doing a 16/8 schedule on the weekends for about two years. It is not the best but we have to do what we can do. Just be conservative and do not ovedose whe you get a high BG after the 15 hours since the next interval will be only 9 hours.
