Can these be used for wet food or just dry? I've seen ones at the Pet store for dry, but never for wet. Even before I had a diabetic cat, I used to wish there was someway I could leave wet food out for them if we were gone for a weekend. Sometimes it's hard to find a family member who will come and feed my two kitties while we are away.

I love my PetSafe 5. It is the only one my cats have not been able to break into. It is pretty easy to program and the top moves, so it is hard for them to break open. The flip top types are much easier for them to get into. You can put frozen food in the compartments. There is a space underneath for an ice pack, which would extend the time the food would stay good. Mine didn't come with on but I found one that fit perfectly.

Most of them, you can also switch out the plastic dishes they come with and use glass or ceramic instead (plastic is known to cause "kitty acne" on the chin). I use little glass custard cups I found at Target for about $5 for 4 (it was a few years ago, so they may have gone up in price and down in quality).
