Time for a Dental

Finn needs a dental but with two kidney blockages and now diabetes I’m the scaredy cat that hasn’t scheduled it. His numbers have been so much better lately (mostly under 200, pretty consistently with a few anomalies - I need to update his spreadsheet) and I really feel like the dental will get us closer to remission. What questions should I ask when scheduling?

Awww, he's pretty. If you can, I would suggest going to a dental specialist. The level of care is just higher. They normally have specialized training and experience and often the best equipment and even the approach to anesthesia and monitoring is usually better. I know not everyone has the option, and I also know that most people have the dental work done at a regular vet, and it goes just fine. I am just a real believer since I started taking my girls to a specialist, so I feel compelled to recommend it.
